Veteran Support

The Soldiers Cut mission is to continue grow our support for veterans and their families through 5% of net profit, or $1 per meat tray sold to new clients being donated.

Currently being aligned with Soldier On and Wounded Heroes Australia, we are aiming to help deliver life changing support services, programs and activities to serving and ex-serving defence personnel and their families across the country.

Soldier On aim to help people reintegrate back into civilian life through free programs and activities aimed at health and well being, employment, learning and education and connecting with the community.

The Soldier’s Cut are a Gold Pledge Member of Soldier On and will not only be helping financially, but also use their recruitment services for employing returned veterans as we grow. This is a major motivation and goal for us.

Wounded Heroes Australia offer 24/7 financial crisis support for Australian Defence Force, veterans and families. Offering crisis support and other programs, they are also having a major, direct impact with the veteran community when in times of real need and support.

As have Soldier On, they have also saved the lives of many returned veterans that have served for our country.

“In a heartwarming display of gratitude and community spirit, Ray, the owner of The Soldiers Cut, has embarked on a noble mission to give back to those who served their country.

Inspired by his father's legacy as a Vietnam War veteran and his own deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by servicemen and women, Ray has pledged to donate a portion of the sales from meat trays used in meat raffles at clubs across New South Wales.

Ray's commitment to honoring veterans runs deep, as his father, a skilled butcher himself, served valiantly in the Australian Army during the Vietnam War. Drawing from this profound connection, Ray felt compelled to pay tribute to not only his father but to all those who have served their nation with bravery and dedication.

To kick off this initiative, Ray, along with his father and fellow veterans, gathered for a special lunch generously provided by Club Rivers. Paul and Jenny, the gracious hosts of the event, warmly welcomed the veterans, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and appreciation. As they shared stories and memories, it became evident that Ray's gesture was more than just a donation—it was a heartfelt expression of respect and gratitude for the sacrifices made by veterans.

"I'm honoured to be able to give back in any way I can," said Ray. "My father's service has always been a source of pride for our family, and I want to do my part to support veterans and their families."

The donation initiative not only serves as a way to support veterans but also strengthens the bonds within the community. Clubs across NSW have eagerly embraced Ray's initiative, recognising the importance of honouring and supporting those who have served.

As the word spreads about The Soldiers Cut's charitable efforts, the impact is expected to ripple far beyond the borders of NSW, inspiring others to find their own meaningful ways to give back to veterans and their communities.”
